Since the trail is an old road, it is wide. There are several very, very steep sections, including one longer section, but a decent portion of the route is runnable. You follow a ridgeline for most of the route, so you have views the whole way up in several directions. From the summit you can go down the main service road and make a loop or you can go back the way you came.
