Open 365 days a year from 7 am to dusk. ADA-accessible. The gate will shut promptly at closing time - do not get your car locked inside.

Need to Know

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No guns, liquor, hunting, fishing, smoking, dogs or loud music. Do not feed wildlife. Stay within the fenced area. No trash bins - pack out your trash. No public restroom.

Description

There is ample parking. Let yourself in through the gate. Hike 430 feet on the trail to the two-story viewing platform. Climb the stairs to the 2nd level for the best view. There are no benches to sit on, so bring a lawn chair, and your binoculars or spotting scope. Sit and enjoy the birds on and around the lake.
