Description

This trail is blazed red, as the name suggests. It begins and ends around the park's amphitheater and native plant gardens. The trail starts on the longest boardwalk in the park which was recently replaced. It continues over the marsh until it returns to solid ground and passes a junction with Blue Trail followed by two other junctions with yellow trails.

It then turns back north and traverses a few other small and older boardwalks before turning west again. Before returning to the main area of the park, it passes a red-blazed spur to a small observation platform over the marsh.

Flora & Fauna

This trail goes over marshland and features a variety of plants and animals. Interpretive signage provides information on these subjects.
