Description

Hiking trails spring through fall, world class cross country ski course during the winter. You'll find a variety of terrain, scenery and surfaces here: rolling and steep hills, grassland and forest, and a pond. Surfaces are mostly grass and dirt with some wood chips in spots. There are numerous other trails here, and on adjacent land, that crisscross making it hard to find your way at times, but no worries, you'll rarely be far off course.
There are occasional way-finding signs and maps again along the way. The tall grasses and wildflowers take on different personalities throughout the year making this spot worth a visit in any of the three seasons it's open to hikers. There is a free parking lot at the start/end of the trail at St. Paul Recreation Center and street parking near other entrances to the trail.
