Description

Access the trail via Tsoutsgish Trail and Dap Loop Trail. The trail starts at a signed junction and climbs the last bit up into the moving sand dunes. Posts with red reflectors mark the way across the loose sand. It is important to find the trail to continue through the lower, stabilized dunes beside the beach.

This area can be swampy and there are boardwalks to cross the low areas. Vegetation of short shore pines gives way to dune grasses. The trail drops down onto a wide beach. There is a sign up in the dunes to help hikers find the trail from the beach side.
