Description

Just created in 2020 the Dot Banks Nature Trail is a short out and back nature trail. It gradually slopes downward as you travel along the 1.2 miles. Early on you'll pass through a beautiful white birch grove.

After about a third of a mile you'll come across a POI which is the largest know black ash tree in NH. Continuing along you'll cross over two brooks, Tompkins Brook and Burrows Brooks and eventually make it to Lost Lake.

There are benches for taking a break near Burrow Brook and at the end of the trail near Lost Lake. At Lost Lake you'll have a nice view of a few of the Sandwich range peaks.

Flora & Fauna

Beavers, deer, porcupines, all kinds of birds and bugs and more!
