I parked at the YMCA across the street. Apparently they cut the grass path quarterly. It was overgrown when I went through in August. It was nice to have long pants.
Description
There are a number of fire breaks and roads crisscrossing this parcel of land including a perimeter trail. You can pick any path you want to explore or follow the one I have set out herein. The lake is man-made and a good environment for birding.
Flora & Fauna
Quite a nice selection of bird species. I didn't see any herons when I was there.
