Need to Know

As part of Wasatch Mountain State Park, there is a nominal fee for recreation in the park, which can be paid at the Visitor Center. To access the trail, you'll need to begin at one of the two Huber Grove Trail trailheads, one of which is at the Visitor Center, and continue on the Epperson Trail.

Description

The Spring Pond Loop trail is a central part of the trail system near the Wasatch Mountain State Park visitor center. It is accessed via the Huber Grove and Epperson Trail, and connects to several other trails, including The Out & Back, Middle Mountain Loop, and Wild Turkey trails.

The terrain is mostly level and free of rocks and other obstacles. There is some shade from the scrub maple along the trail, but large portions of it are exposed. It does encircle a pond that, as the name implies, is mostly only visible in the wetter spring season.
