Description

Great Divide Trail - Section F (Jasper to North Boundary Trail) Alternate Route.

This Alternate Route helps avoids most of the need to walk on the shoulder of the very busy Yellowhead Highway (Hwy 16) west of Jasper. It parallels the highway, but keeps one off the shoulder of the road.

A combination of Jasper trails, a pipeline right-of-way, and an old railbed, is used to reduce the highway road walk to only 2.2 miles instead of 13 miles, when combined with the Great Divide Trail - Jasper Tote Road Alternate Route.

Please see the resources listed above under Need to Know for up to date detailed descriptions and valuable information.
