The hike begins at the Berghaus Malbun Buchserberg hotel. There is local skiing here in the winter and the hike begins at the paid parking lot (coins only). The trail is very well-marked and is moderate through pasture land until the final push for the summit. This section is steeper and uses a gulley that is protected by a steel cable. Incredible views from the summit. A highlight of our trip to Switzerland.
