Family Friendly Picnic areas are set up. There's a path back from the river edge that's an easy walk.

Need to Know

Parking is easy during summer at either Huron High School or in the Furstenberg Nature Area parking lot.

Description

Most of this hike is in the woods between river and railroad tracks. The section along Fuller Road is a bit too city, but the path is wide and clear. It's popular with joggers and bikers, though some sections along the boardwalk are not open for bikers.

Flora & Fauna

You'll often see deer, birds, rabbits, etc. in this area.

Along Gallup Park Pathway, you'll find several mulberry trees to enjoy.
