This mostly singletrack trail built for bikes is a great escape into the outdoors during the weekdays when there are few people riding it.

Theses trails make a great seven mile loop or longer, some of which was built for mountain bikes. The varied terrain is interesting and challenging for hiking, too.

Maybury has enough trails to explore and keep a hiker busy for multiple trips to the park, so don't limit yourself to a specific trail, just hike and explore.

All the trails seemed well-groomed in the summer. They had good sight-lines and plenty of well-marked emergency access points in case you get injured and need to get off the trail.

On the route, there are some cool features that might be missed when passed by bicycle, like a rusty kid's bike that has grown into a tree.

Trailheads have easily readable maps and directions in case you get really lost. Otherwise, just use the Hiking Project mobile app.
