Description

The trail begins on a woodland trail at the western end of the Bigelow Preserve. The trail begins with a gradual incline along a wide logging road and later rises to barren ledges. There are several viewpoints along the ledges before reaching Cranberry Peak. The eastward descent consists of a moderate terrain leads to the north shore of Cranberry Pond before meeting the AT.
