There is a nice NPS parking area at trailhead with clean restrooms. No water. No parking fees.

Description

On this trail, you can enjoy beautiful vistas of the city and surrounding mountains. Watch for MTBers and snakes in the hotter months. There are lots of small round lava rocks that are real ankle turners, so pay attention to the trail. Earbuds are not recommended.
