Description

The Grindstone Marshes Trail is the main trail at the Royal Botanical Garden's (RBG) Hendrie Park. There is parking at the access point, where you'll enter the trail at the Cherry Hill Gate. There is a fairly steep descent at the beginning of the trail to get to the valley floor and it can be icy at certain times of the year. A long boardwalk offers many great views along the marshes, where many different types of wildlife and birds can be observed.
