Description

The Crater Lake trail is 0.8 miles long. It begins at Forest Road 380 and ends at CDT 813. On the west side of the Continental Divide, the trail continues on to Crater Lake in the San Juan National Forest under #562. The trail is open for the following uses: Horseback riding, hiking, backpacking, and mountain biking.

This trail heads uphill through trees and then up above the treeline before it connects to the CDT trail for approximately 0.5 miles before splitting off again under the number 562.
