Description
Uvas
Creek Trail is found by following the road to the campground, straight through the campground, then veering left as the road veers left and goes to the campground's restrooms. With the restrooms on the left, go through the open area to the right, across the road from the restrooms, to find the Uvas
Creek Trail trailhead.
Uvas
Creek Trail descends through the woods to reach Uvas Creek almost immediately. Here the trail veers right (east) to follow Uvas Creek downstream. The trail runs next to the creek along its wooded creek banks. After 0.3 miles, Swanson Creek is reached where it empties into Uvas Creek. Slightly upstream (to the right/south) Swanson Creek cascades over Lower Falls. The falls are most impressive in the winter and spring, especially after heavy rains.
Flora & Fauna
Dense creekside woods, ferns, and other low vegetation. Deer.
