The trail Ts into Cliff Creek Trail #8840, which is where Hiking Project says 2.8 miles. To get to Beckwith Pass, it is another 0.5 miles mostly uphill, but completely manageable. Just when you think you're at the end, you end up in a glade as you hit the other trail. Take a right and head up Cliff Creek Trail #8840 to get to the top of the pass. Totally worth the extra 0.5 miles.
