This loop begins at the road to the house of dreams. After hiking uphill, you'll veer to the left halfway up onto dirt fire roads that will give you views of Rome down below. After a final steep incline, you'll begin your descent off the mountain down long winding roads that will put you back nearby the Reservoir, and directly at the Old Mill. The last mile or so is all on paved road back to where to the gate where you began. Featuring shade, and some exposed areas where logging has occurred, every mile will feature new scenery.
