The northern terminus of the trail is only accessible through the park's picnic area, not by way of the swimming area. While there is a social trail that has been formed in the swimming area it is very eroded and not the correct entrance to the trail.

Need to Know

The scenic Wadsworth Falls are not on this trail. To access the falls, you must follow the road for a short while after the southern terminus of this trail. Interestingly, while it is not technically on the trail, some of the roadwalk is also blazed orange.

Description

As its name suggests, this is the main trail through the park. It is blazed orange constantly throughout its run. This track is good for beginners and anyone looking for a nice, easy stroll through a park. It's a little hilly, but nothing difficult, and there are very few rocks or roots. A wonderful piece of this trail are the multiple small footbridges that are sprinkled throughout. This is a multi-use trail, with plenty of bike traffic on weekends or summer days, so please be respectful.
