Description

This trail has a little bit of everything, including deep wooded cover, multiple creek crossings, scenic bridges, and a general sense of being removed from the houses that are packed tight around you.

From the end of the parking lot behind the shelter, begin by descending gradually into the woods. From here, choose either the steps or the rather steep paved path to descend into the creek bottoms. Continue on the paved path until you cross the rather large bridge. From here, you can either take a sharp left and skirt back along the margin of the woods, or continue right and make a longer loop on the other side of the entrance and connect back through the South Nature Trail for a little longer adventure.

Flora & Fauna

Expect to see deer, mice, squirrels, and birds of all sorts!
