Description

This trail starts in the parking lot next to the seasonal visitor center. Follow the farm road (which is the trail) out around the fields until you come upon the Pratt Sheep Barn and Machine Shed (which is in the process of being rebuilt). Follow the trail as it winds around the barns and around fields. Stay ON the trail!

Follow this until it comes to Ebey's Prairie Ridge Trail where the trail ends. Follow Ebey's Prairie Ridge Trail past Jacob Ebey's house and blockhouse back to the parking lot.

This is one of the prettiest trails in the area. Stop and look—you can see for miles down the island. Someone once said "Almost a paradise of nature" in reference to Ebey's Landing NHR, and they were so right!

Flora & Fauna

Pines and deer.
