“A short trail to an area of the Pedernales River that is suitable for swimming.”— Karl W
This trail begins from a decent sized parking area and descends about 120 feet along a wide gravely trail. When you reach the river edge you can wade in right away or continue a short ways down stream. The trail continues informally all the way to the 5.5-Mile Loop trail at Trammell's Crossing.
Remember you have to climb back up from the river.
