Description

An easy walk through woodlands and skirting overgrown meadows. For most of its length, bare dirt, grass or gravel road, wide enough to walk side-by-side. Well signed throughout.

Starts at Woodlawn Manor Cultural Park; from visitor parking lot go back towards main entrance; trail starts on the left at the bottom of a horse pasture. Skirt pasture in grass; follow signs to turn right into the woods.

At about halfway point, cross stream on bridge and emerge into meadow. Follow mowed trail; when you pass the Sandy Spring on the right, go straight ahead onto gravel road. Follow road to the corner of the meadow, turn right and the Champion White Ash Tree (and end of trail) is a few hundred yards away.
