There is no water at this trail system and it can be very hot in the summer. Make sure to bring plenty of water.

Description

This short loop trail travels along the ridge of a small canyon, around a foothill, and back to provide access to the longer Cholla Loop. T&C gives users just a sampling of all that the Dolan Springs Trail System has to offer. Traveling counterclockwise, there is a short, rocky, segment with a steep climb and descent that leaves you in a sandy wash surrounded by large Joshua Trees, cholla, and yuccas. Once you get out of the wash, you can continue onto the Cholla Loop or take a gradual twisting climb back to the main trailhead.
