Description

The ES starts on the north end on an old logging road. There are roots and rocks that make this section a little technical, but very usable. It eventually turns into a singletrack with roots and rocks. There are also plenty of ups and downs that make this probably one of the more technical sections of the trail. Being on the eastern side of the ridge provides one with the best views of Westhaven as well as the sunrise each day.

Good elevation change, watch out for ticks in the summer. Well maintained. Parked in neighborhood across from West Elm trail entrance
