Please stay on the boardwalk.

Description

The trail starts as a dirt track, but quickly turns into a boardwalk to protect the complex wetland ecosystem. Follow the boardwalk, and the forest opens up and offers a great view of the surrounding mountains. At the end of the boardwalk, you'll find three interpretive signs detailing the importance of the wetlands and the species that can be found here.

Flora & Fauna

One of the interesting plants that you can see along this trail is the Sundew. It's a small insectivorous plant that consumes insects to obtain nitrogen as the soil in the wetlands is very poor in nutrients.
