Description

This trail is named for former Helotes Mayor Jon Allan. It is a short trail with moderate elevation gain. A great view looking west into the hill country can be found at the top of the hill. It makes for a good hike when combined with other trails at Senator Frank L. Madla Jr. Natural Area.

Flora & Fauna

Live oak, mountain cedar, dwarf palmetto, and deer can be found in the area.
