Family Friendly
Kids can definitely handle this trail's gentle grades and short length.
Description
Loop B (Red Trail) is similar to
Loop A (Green Trail) in that it travels through dense Michigan hardwoods and hemlock alongside the lake. If you don't want to continue onto
Loop C (Blue Trail), make a right and a right at the first two junctions, and it will return you back to
Loop A (Green Trail) and the way back to the car.
Flora & Fauna
A host of wildlife is present in this area, so keep your eyes out! Don't be surprised if you see ducks, cranes, deer, signs of bears, and bobcats all in the same trip.
