Overview

A great hike that leads to Jangada Waterfall.

Description

This hike departs from the main square of Casa Branca, in front of the Matriz church where you can park your car. From here, follow a road in the stream direction of the Corrego do Feijao to the entrance to the access of the Jangada Waterfall. From there, hikers will have a road and then a stretch of singletrack that will take you to the Jangada Waterfall.

The trail ends at a beautiful waterfall. It can be slippery, so be careful if you decide to take a dip. As you get closer to the waterfall, there is a gate and fences; this is a private area, but hikers are allowed to enter just be respectful and don't be too noisy. Once you are finished enjoying the waterfall, simply hike back the way you came.
