Perdidas is one of the most-popular and well-used trails in Belo Horizonte, and from it you can get to a lot of other trails in the region.

Beware of cyclists and motorcyclists.

Trilha Perdidas is a classic track located practically within Belo Horizonte. This trail is well used by cyclists, but it is also excellent for hiking. It crosses the hills by linking to Macacos City. The trail starts in Vila Del Rey, and it is entirely singletrack, with several up and downhills along the way. The trail also connects to several other trails in the region. Most beginners will hike this trail as an out-and-back, but for those looking for a longer outing, this trail makes a great starting point.

Some Guará (maned) wolves have been seen on the early morning trail.
