Description

Visit The Trusteeswebsite for up to date information on this park.

Farandnear is filled with easy, quick trails. The trails are all wide enough to hike in pairs or to pass comfortably. It is a great place to visit to watch or listen to the birds, if you love trees, or just need to escape civilization for a quick jaunt. There are no major elevations changes, or technical areas, except for the closed Arbutus Path, which has been rendered wetlands by the beavers. There are many different environments including the arboretum, an old cranberry bog, and open landscaped areas. The park is well worth a visit, and it may become a regular stop.

This is one of The Trustees of Reservations properties, so you know it is always well cared for.
