Description

Long Meadow is one of the old farm roads from when Wilder Ranch was a working farm.

From the intersection of Chinquapin Trail and Long Meadow Trail, you start in chaparral interspersed with oak. Long Meadow Trail then descends into an oak forest and on the other side you'll find yourself at the top of a long meadow. Off in the distance you'll see the rolling hills of Wilder Ranch leading to the Pacific Ocean. Gorgeous.

The trail is on old farm road and is very easy. There are a couple of short climbs, but easily doable. These climbs lead to magnificent views, so they're well worth it. Do be careful of the potential ruts and water bars.
