Description
Meadow Trail starts and ends along
Blue Springs Trail. The Meadow Trail start as shown in this description, is deep in the dense mixed redwood forest, at the 0.7 mile mark along
Blue Springs Trail.
Meadow Trail starts off with a short, steep climb in the thick forest, to reach the park road after only about a tenth of a mile. Without crossing the road, the trail veers left/west and runs along the road, staying in the redwood forest. At the 0.3 mile mark, the trail pops out of the forest to diagonally cross the road. Signposts on both sides of the road mark the trail where it emerges and re-enters the forest.
After crossing the road, Meadow Trail continues on in the forest for about another quarter mile to reach
Meadow Trail Cut-Off on the right/north. Here at this trail junction, Meadow Trail finally reaches a MEADOW, and crosses it to find
Blue Springs Trail. Meadow Trail ends here at the 1.35 mile mark along
Blue Springs Trail.
Flora & Fauna
Predominantly mixed redwood forest. At the end there is a small grassy meadow.
