Fun singletrack right out of the trailhead.

Features -none-

Closed to motorized vehicles during wet conditions. Check with the Royal Gorge BLM Field Office at 719-269-8500 for the latest conditions.

Description

The fun rolling singletrack starts right from the lower trailhead and connects with the Fire Canyon Trailhead. Most people take the right turn staying on Tectonic Shift Trail for a longer and more fun hike. For a more direct route you can go straight onto Path of Least Resistance Trail.

Staying right on Tectonic Shift Trail is the preferred trail option over Path of Least Resistance. Eventually, you'll pop out on the road and see where Tectonic Shift Trail continues. Keep following this trail to the Fire Canyon Trailhead and Unconformity Trail to keep off the road and away from the main cattle grazing area.
