Description

The Upper Cement Creek Trail starts Approximately 1.2mi past the Deadman Gulch trailhead on Cement Creek Road. Look for a brown forest service trailhead sign directly ahead, right before the first switchback in the road. The trail climbs gradually up valley as it meanders alongside Cement Creek. There are several fun small creek crossings along the way until it finally ends near the end of Hunters Creek Trail. There is no sign here. Now you'll have two options, if you stay right, cross Cement Creek, climb the short embankment you'll end up on Cement Creek Road. Or you can turn around on the trail and hike back the way you came. This is a fun option for staying off the road.
