Description

This trail makes for an easy walk through the forest but not flat. There are switchbacks but nothing too extreme. Watch out for mountain bikers. There are a few water spots but it was standing water.

There is one side trail I remember that leads to the lake. I didn't take it. Campground 1 is about four miles in and I didn't see water there. It has three shelters, a privy and room for tent camping. I stopped at a small beach about one mile from Campground 1 with access to the lake.

Flora & Fauna

Deer that are not scared of you. They will just curiously stare back at you.
