Description

From the parking area, the trailhead is located on the exit side of Marble Mountain loop road. The trail descends gradually for a quarter mile. After that, the trail climbs steeply until it makes a sharp right turn and merges onto the Whiteface Mountain Trail #82. This trail is often the choice to start the hike to climb to Whiteface Mountain summit because it is the shortest route.

Decent ascent to the top and fairly dry conditions for how much rain we’ve had. We hiked this trail as part of our hike to Whiteface and Esther
