Description

The best way to hike this trail is from Little Gnarly to Sunset, climbing. Hike steep, get high, am I right? It's really not that steep, and it has a few great views, especially when you reach Sunset at the end of Upper Brookbank. There are a few sections with very steep and rocky climbs and there are lots of sections with dense tree roots and rocks. Awesomesauce. This is nearly all singletrack, and if you venture out there on a weekend, you are very likely to encounter mountain bikers and hikers.

There are a few trails junctions that you'll come to that are relatively unmarked. Always stay to the left. When you get to the top of the climb and reach Sunset, you'll know because there is a sign; it is in a big clearing on top of a hill with an excellent view, and you'll likely be exhausted.

Enjoy!
