Idaho backcountry at its finest: singletrack through old gold mining prospects.

Snow coverage till July

Description

Difficult to access, but incredibly worth it if the trail is clear (snow and logs often make this hike inaccessible in the early summer).

Can be done as an out and back by or a connecting trail; this trail climbs as smooth as it descends. There are large rocky sections, forested buff dirt sections, and spectacular rock falls and views the whole way up though meadowland and burn area.

Heading down Decker, passing over the bridge and Flint Creek - Trail 067 intersection, the trail gets a little sparse, but it's incredibly fun.
