Ride the Jakobshorn lift from the valley to get to the start of the route.
Head out of the lift house and down the access road. You'll definitely be distracted by breathtaking views of the Alps unfolding before you.
Stay right onto singletrack as the road comes to a small lake. From here there trail begins to descend; the grade is steady at first but not steep as you cross open alpine terrain.
Eventually, the route becomes steeper as it descends into a valley. The trail will be rugged in spots with big rocks and some large steps down. Be mindful of livestock fencing that may be corralling the trail.
