Update

Hike this trail from the Upper Oso Campground to meet the Santa Cruz Trail.

Overview

Features: River/Creek

Description

To start hiking on the Canyon Trail, follow the trail north from the Upper Oso Campground. You'll quickly pass a gate before beginning to climb into the canyon. From here, you'll be hiking below high canyon walls as you cross over Oso Creek a few times. This section is known as the Oso narrows. After nearly 1 mile of hiking on the Canyon Trail, you'll meet the Santa Cruz Trail. At this point, the Canyon Trail ends, and you can link up with the Santa Cruz Trail to extend your hike.
