This trail is popular with mountain bikers, be alert as you hike.

Description

From the trailhead, hike north on Pratt Trail following Stewart Creek. The trail dips into Stewart Canyon, winding up through oaks and shrubs. This part of the trail is managed by OVLC and passes behind private residences, so respect the posted signs and stay on the path.

The trail meets a paved road which leads to a gate and the boundary of Los Padres National Forest. The trail continues on a dirt road past the junctions for both Foothill Trail and Foothill Connector Trail. At the Y-junction with Fuelbreak Road Trail, continue left to stay on Pratt Trail and continue climbing. The trail ends at Nordhoff Ridge Road.
