Description

The trail begins at the intersection of a connector trail. From here, head west on the north side of Rice Creek over a paved road (Canal Road) and a bridge over a canal. The trail follows the creek through a gate which takes you into Los Padres National Forest. As you continue to ascend, you'll be rewarded with nice views of Ojai Valley. The trail turns south, passing over a cattle grate and heading back into the preserve. Continue past El Nido Meadow as you descend into Wills Canyon and the junction with the Wills Canyon Trail.
