Description

The trail has a couple of places where the gullies have become washed-out, and these spots can make the going a little rough. There's also a fair amount of rocks throughout the whole hike as it follows the ridgeline above Walker Branch from NFSR #74 - Big Ivy to NFSR #231 - Lower Staire. As mapped, this route is a consistent descent, and if you're planning a loop you'll want to plan accordingly.
