Description

Overall, this trail is fairly easy with some climbing over rocks. The trail is pretty short, but does include some rock hopping. Overall, there is good footing, even among the rocks. In some places it was difficult to truly know what was the trail. If you do veer off the trail it usually joins up with the more obvious trail in less than 50 yards. On the way in, the creek is on your right and the the trail is usually above it looking down. You are heading back into the canyon, so there are mostly views of the hillside, and mountains in the distance.

From the end of this route, you can turn back the way that you came, or take the long way back and take Sherman Pass Road to Mountain Hwy 99 for a loop.

Flora & Fauna

Possible rattlesnakes.
