This is a good route if parking in the main areas of Garden of the Gods is full. Starting from the visitor center parking area, head to the western edge of the parking lot. There will be a paved road that has pedestrian areas marked on it. This path/road will take you safely under N 30th Street. Once through the underpass, look for the dirt path on the western edge of the path/road. Follow this southwest to more or less run parallel to the Gateway Road. You'll hit the Susan G. Bretag Trail and the Juniper Way Loop Road which you'll need to cross to enter the main area of the park.
