Description

This trail is an unexpected treat in an suburban jungle. It is a short hike on a nice, hard-packed surface that loops through some low-lying areas next to Rowlett Creek and is adjacent to the Pecan Grove Trail.

The trail begins off of the Rowlett Creek Trail that connects to Suncreek Park. The closest parking is at Suncreek Park or along the neighborhood streets. This area is very well-maintained by the City of Allen with not one piece of debris or trash in sight, which can be unusual for areas surrounding a large creek that serves as a major runoff in DFW.

Overall, it is a very quiet and secluded trail that provides a great opportunity to remove yourself from the chaos of city life.
