Description

This flat trail along the Foss Waterway is a developing trail, with some small sections along the roadway.

Most of the trail is boardwalk or through parks along the waterfront. This trail will guide you from Thea's Park down to the beautiful 509 bridge, which you'll hike underneath to reach the 21st St. Park, where the trail ends.

Check out Metro Parks' website, for more info.

During certain times of year, such as the annual Maritime Festival, users can detour onto the docks to see the boats. Check out Maritime Festival info here.

Flora & Fauna

Sea creatures, as the Foss is connected to the Commencement Bay and the Puget Sound.
