Description

If you are able to stay on the loop, this is a pretty splendid run. However, doing so can be a challenge and getting on a side trail can lead to a lot of sand, unmaintained trails, and a generally unhappy experience.

The start, if going ccw, is fairly well marked, flat, and easy to follow. About 1-2 miles in, once the climbing starts, it becomes harder to stay on the right trail. Just keep climbing towards the summit/ridge. It is after dropping off the ridge that things really become a challenge. Track your movement through this app and you'll (likely) be fine. Stay in the rock and you'll stay on the trail and avoid the sand pits and the numerous shoe dumps that come with them.

Follow the "Bowl Trail" to reconnect to the beginning and make a loop out of this.
